WinSkill · Why WinSkill

We are building the training infrastructure for India's preventive healthcare future.

WinSkill is the training arm of WinDNA Life Sciences, a working preventive genomics and microbiome company. The programmes are designed by people who do this work every day, for the next generation of professionals who will carry it into clinics, communities and homes across India.

The thesis

India does not lack medical knowledge.

India lacks the trained workforce to bring that knowledge to families before disease begins. Not more doctors. Not more hospitals. A new layer of professionals who carry prevention, personalisation and biology into the daily lives of Indian people. That workforce does not exist yet at the scale India needs.

WinSkill exists to train it.

The story

A working preventive health company decided to train the people who will deliver this work.

WinSkill grew inside WinDNA Life Sciences, a preventive genomics and microbiome company already serving doctors, dieticians and families across India.

Over years of building this work, one pattern became impossible to ignore. India does not lack the science. India lacks the trained workforce to bring that science into clinics, homes and communities before disease begins.

So we built WinSkill. Not as a separate venture. As the training arm of a company that knows this work every day.

The global shift

Healthcare is moving from treatment to prevention.

Across the world, healthcare systems are quietly restructuring. From reactive to proactive. From generic to personalised. From hospitals to homes. From late intervention to early understanding.

The professionals who will lead this next era will not look like the professionals of the last one. They will need biology, genetics, microbiome science, personalised nutrition and behavioural understanding, alongside their core training.

India sits at a particularly important moment. Lifestyle-related diseases are rising. The traditional clinical workforce was not trained for prevention. The opportunity to build the next generation of professionals is open, and it will not stay open forever.

What we are building toward

A Wellness Open University for the next era of Indian health.

Over time, WinSkill is being built into something larger. A platform that brings preventive science, integrative health, Ayurveda, yoga, naturopathy and lifestyle medicine under one credentialed roof.

Ancient Indian wisdom held with modern scientific rigour, delivered to professionals across India and beyond. The programmes you see today are the first step in that direction.

Founders

The two people who started this.

Gourisankar Parida

Founder · WinDNA Life Sciences

Fifteen years across diagnostics, pharma and the nutraceutical industry before founding WinDNA Life Sciences. WinSkill grew from a single conviction he carried through that career. India does not lack medical knowledge. India lacks the trained workforce to bring that knowledge to families, clinics and communities before disease begins. The mission of WinSkill follows from that observation.

Rituparna Mohanty

Co-founder · WinDNA Life Sciences

Former associate professor of computer engineering. Left academia to help build WinDNA Life Sciences. At WinSkill she leads the technology, the learning platform and the data systems that hold the institution together as it scales. The way the programmes feel to a learner, the way the curriculum holds its rigour, the way the team works at distance, is largely her work.

How we work

Four principles we have committed to.

Education before selling

Every interaction is designed to help the learner make a better decision, even if that decision is not enrolling with us right now.

Science with humility

Preventive health is a fast-moving field. We teach what is well-evidenced and we are honest about what is still uncertain.

Community before commerce

Aarogya Doot is priced for community access. The other programmes are priced for sustained access by working professionals.

Long-term over short-term

We are building professionals for a thirty-year career arc, not selling courses for a quarterly target.
