What you become
The CLWC Diploma is designed to take you from interested to qualified in six structured months. Four outcomes you should be able to demonstrate by the end of the programme.
01
Understand the biological systems behind nutrition, sleep, stress, movement and metabolism well enough to translate them into specific lifestyle conversations with confidence.
02
Build plans that respect Indian dietary patterns, family context and real-world constraints. Move beyond template diet charts and generic advice into structured, defensible recommendations.
03
Know which interventions have strong evidence, which are still emerging, and which lack support. Be able to defend recommendations to a clinically trained reviewer.
04
Move into a clinic, a wellness centre or your own practice with a recognised qualification rather than an unstructured wellness background.
Who the programme is for
The CLWC Diploma is designed for graduates, career-switchers and emerging practitioners. Prior clinical training helps but is not required. What matters is genuine interest in working in preventive health.
The application review is collaborative. We want to know where you are coming from and where you want to go. Sometimes the conversation reveals that a different programme is a better fit, and we say so honestly.
What you learn
The curriculum sequences from foundational systems thinking to practical coaching tools, finishing with case-based application. Built for working alongside a job or other commitments.
01
The shift from treatment-led to prevention-led healthcare. How lifestyle, environment and biology interact. The systems thinking that anchors everything else in the curriculum.
02
Practical nutrition science applied to Indian dietary patterns. How to give specific, biology-aware nutrition guidance without prescribing rigid diet plans. Avoiding common myths.
03
The role of sleep architecture, stress physiology and metabolic markers in long-term health. How to assess each in a coaching conversation and where to refer for clinical support.
04
The core skill of the work. Motivational interviewing, structured intake, progress review, and the rhythm of working with a client over weeks and months rather than a single session.
05
Building a practice that holds together. Documentation, ethical scope, referral pathways. The programme closes with case-based assessment from real situations.
Certification is awarded after case-based assessment and a final practice review. The credential is recognised by Sambalpur University.
How the programme runs
Most participants are graduates entering this field or working professionals adding it to their existing practice. The schedule accommodates both.
Why this credential matters
India is moving toward preventive healthcare faster than its workforce is being trained. Genetics, lifestyle, nutrition and behaviour are becoming central to medical practice. The professionals who can hold the day-to-day conversation with a patient or client about how to live well are not yet present in the numbers required.
The next decade will need tens of thousands of trained preventive wellness practitioners working alongside doctors, dieticians and integrative clinics. Credentialed early entrants into this field carry a responsibility to shape what the profession looks like as it grows.
The CLWC credential is recognised by Sambalpur University, which means it is anchored in academic infrastructure rather than treated as a short certificate. The qualification is intended to be defensible to any clinical or institutional reviewer.
Where graduates work
The CLWC Diploma is designed as an entry credential into the preventive workforce. Graduates typically move into one of three settings, sometimes across more than one.
Wellness centres and integrative clinics
Clinics, wellness centres and integrative medicine practices hiring credentialed lifestyle coaches as part of their team. Often the first dedicated wellness hire for a clinical practice.
Corporate wellness programmes
Companies running structured preventive health initiatives for employees. The CLWC credential gives entry into a sector that has lacked qualified practitioners.
Independent and consulting practice
Building an independent practice. Many graduates combine the credential with prior interests (yoga, nutrition, fitness) to create a distinctive offering.
How to apply
The application is short. The conversation that follows is collaborative. We want to know if the programme is the right next step for where you are right now.
01
Tell the team about your background, where you currently work, and why this programme matters for you. Two or three paragraphs is enough.
02
WinSkill responds with a short call or message exchange. The goal is mutual fit. The team is honest if the programme is not right for your stage.
03
Once admitted, you receive the cohort schedule, fee structure, onboarding material and access to the first module. The next six months begin from there.
The fastest way to begin is a message. Most applications are answered within the working day.
