Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data WinSkill collects when you use this website, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. WinSkill is the training arm of WinDNA Life Sciences. In this policy, the words we, us and our refer to WinDNA Life Sciences operating as WinSkill.
Who is responsible for your data
WinDNA Life Sciences is the data fiduciary for the personal data collected through this website. Our registered address is 1107, Magic Square, Dwarkadhish Road, Off Poddar Road, Malad East, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400097. You can reach us about any privacy matter at info@winskill.in.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to share with us through the forms on this site. When you submit an enquiry or a pathway form, this typically includes your name, email address, WhatsApp or phone number, your city, and the programme or role you are interested in, along with any message you write to us.
When you submit a form, our server also records the date and time of the submission and the internet protocol address of the device used, as a basic security and abuse prevention measure. We do not ask for, and you should not send us, any health, genetic, financial or other sensitive information through these forms.
How we use your data
We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, to help you understand which programme suits you, to share information about intakes, dates and fees, and to follow up on a conversation you have started with us. We use it for the purpose you shared it for, and for closely related communication about WinSkill programmes.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use it for unrelated advertising. We do not share it with third parties except the limited service providers described below, or where the law requires us to.
The legal basis for processing
We process your personal data on the basis of the consent you give when you tick the consent box and submit a form, and for the legitimate purpose of responding to a request you have made to us. You are not required to share any information, but if you choose not to, we may not be able to respond to your enquiry.
Who we share data with
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run this website and to communicate with you, for example our website hosting provider and the email and messaging services we use to reply to you. These providers process data only on our instructions and only to the extent needed to provide their service. We remain responsible for your data when it is handled on our behalf.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data only for as long as is needed to respond to you and to maintain a reasonable record of our conversation, after which it is deleted or anonymised. If you ask us to delete your data sooner, we will do so unless we are required by law to retain it.
How we protect it
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so while we work to protect your data we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct or update it, to ask us to delete it, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did lawfully before you withdrew it. You also have the right to nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event you are unable to do so, and to raise a grievance with us.
To exercise any of these rights, write to us at info@winskill.in and we will respond within a reasonable period.
Grievance contact
If you have a concern about how your personal data is handled, please contact us first at info@winskill.in so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India as provided under the Act.
Children
This website and our programmes are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has shared personal data with us, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review it occasionally.
This page is provided for transparency about our data practices. It is not legal advice.
